If you are a new illustration you gotta know that you have all the chances in the world to make your way into the big leagues and work for the most awesome clients around, all it takes is your effort and exposure.

David Despau is one of those illustrators that really made his way to the top and has been doing some fantastic work. He's an Spanish illustrator and these are only a few of his work. Beautiful Houses: Carqueija in Camaçari

The idea in this series is to show beautiful and inspiring houses. Houses that are remarkable for its design, elegance, elements, concept or simply because they are beautiful. So if you like architecture, interior design and beautifully designed houses, you are at the right spot. Check out this week beautiful house and stay tuned for more...

This week we present you the beautiful Carqueija House.

The Carqueija House is a project by Bento + Azevedo, the firm was founded in 2005 and produces contemporary architecture. The Carqueija House is located in Camaçari, Bahia - Brazil and when you first look at it you see something like box. The project is simple and really beautiful. In order to have the best orientation, in a tropical county, the house closes itself from the front street view, which is west, and opens into the backyard, creating a privative and integrated place. That way, on the front facade, architectural elements, as a narrow windows and a pare-soleil was used to protect the house against solar irradiation, while the back facade, on east side, completely integrate the inside with the outside, through large windows, sliding doors and a porch, connecting the house with the green area.

This house is really beautiful. I love its simplicity, the white and wide spaces and backyard with lots of green, everything is beautiful, just not sure about keeping this clean. ;)

New Illustrations by God Machine

We already interviewed God Machine 2 years ago, since then he showed a great evolution on his work, getting more and more detailed as time goes by. It's great to see artists like these that keep evoluting their style, we can say that they're like Wine.

Nowadays God Machine work for some apparel labels, doing t-shirts and other stuff. Also, he seems to do a lot of artworks to metal bands, what is really cool indeed since he have a gore/splatter illustration style.

'Godmachine Lives in South Wales, Uk with his wife, two cats and his beard. Inspired in his youth by
skatebording and comics and being self taught, Godmachine has managed to carve a space for himself
and make a huge impact on the merch world...and soon everywhere else..' (God Machine's website)
