Last week, while browsing around looking for inspiration I bumped into the WTF series from Minga, a small creativity & design boutique based in Argentina. The series really got my attention for its creativity and simplicity. Simple posters that transmit a cool idea with great visual and sense of humor. It's something that makes us laugh and recall our own WTF moments.

I got in touch with Minga to know more about the series and the idea behind it and got a prompt reply from them. So here are the posters and further info about the WTF series. I also recommend you to check out their website and Behance page for further creative artworks, they have really nice stuff to show. :)
WTF Series is about things that happen to us while living a normal life... when you clearly don't understand why those things happened! They're usually out of the ordinary things that occur to all of us but are sometimes hard to believe. It began as an in-house joke here in the studio so we decided to make it a "Design Piece".

We wanted to create some funny, where people can laugh about WTF situations, and we create a poster series about it. Now we are working on the second part of it: "WTF Series II"

The architects Jeff Warner, John Ruffo, Sam Nunes and Bryan Shilo resolved to join their professional experiences after more than 20 years of practice, through SOM and Gensler, and in 2005 formed the WRNS Studio in San Francisco.

Karen Bit Vejles form of expression, psaligraphy, literally means the art of drawing or painting with scissors. Her magical cuttings in the travelling exhibition Scissors for a Brush, are rooted in a tradition that has known a long journey through history. But she has created a personal style and technique that are entirely her own.

For more than 35 years she has been absorbed, fascinated, and deeply committed to this art form that developed from small, simple snowflakes to unusually large and highly complex image cuttings. She is one of very few in Europe who can cut at such an advanced technical and artistic level. There is a great degree of humour in Karen Bit Vejle's world of imagery; humour and the ability to identify joy in small things. Just as often, though, she confronts deep seriousness and themes intended to invoke involvement and reflection. Her works are captivating surprise packages. By meeting Karen Bit Vejle's images of air and paper we can find ourselves both surprised and inspired!

    Psaligraphy

Psaligraphy - the art of papercutting - requires time. Both when it comes to creation and experience of the work of art. Contrary to almost everything else in the world today, psaligraphy is a slow art. It takes time to master, plan and perform it.
