Posted: 17 Nov 2010 06:33 AM PST Eric Guillemain left Paris where he and his band lived and played to visit New York City. It was just supposed to be a brief break from his normal life, a change of pace to help him finish writing some songs. However, in a surprise twist, he fell in love with New York and he turned that love into a successful career as a fashion photographer.Below you can see several of my favorite images from his website, www.ericguillemain.com. I hope you enjoy! Let me know what you think of his work in the comments and on twitter, where I go by @nathanbweller. |
Posted: 17 Nov 2010 03:41 AM PST Some people might not like outdoors in their towns, but there's some worth seeing. If someone hires a great illustrator to come up with some outdoor designs, that's just delightful to see a fresh design on your way to work everyday, right?<!--break-->That's exactly the case of Viti Grosman's work. He got to make designs to Coca-Cola and designed some awesome outdoors, and thousands of people saw his work around the city. A good thing is to discover the guy behind such designs and to find out that his work is pretty cool. So, here's a brief selection of it... and for more, you may visit his portfolio or site. I hope you all enjoy these! Cheers. ;) CokeToysProductsMural - Iguatemi ShoppingEl Cabritón Shop |

Posted: 16 Nov 2010 06:41 PM PST When we see a symbol or a custom designed typeface of a logo we tend to forget how much work was put into not only the graphic elements but the ideas and goals behind that design. There are very important details that make a good visual identity, from the right color choice to the construction guide of the elements in which all the adjustments are done and proportions are defined. It's in my opinion one of the coolest parts of the design process of visual identities. In this post I've selected some visual identity projects from Behance that illustrate a little bit of this attention to the details and the beautiful work done on the projects that follow. I'm sure they will also inspire you to do the same with your future projects.SDPKaleidoskopBy Rene BiederApexBrasilSt-thermohusBy Sebastian GramCorporate visual identity management involves the planned maintenance, assessment and development of a corporate visual identity as well as associated tools and support, anticipating developments both inside and outside the organization, and engaging employees in applying it, with the objective of contributing to employees' identification with and appreciation of the organization as well as recognition and appreciation among external stakeholders. - Wikipedia SILVER STONEBy Cheltsov KirillajevaBy Julian HrankovDanish law company Leoni AdvokaterBy Hello MondayEastgateBy Creative United |
