Founded in 1996 in Melbourne by the architects Corbett and Carey Lyon. They earned great reputation in Australia doing good projects in health and education. With many national and international awards accumulated, have a consistent architecture within the concept and worked with harmony and boldness.<!--break-->
After graduating from the University of Melbourne, Corbett and Carey Lyon, passed by good professional experience in architecture offices in Australia and the United States. In 1996 Lyons founded the office in Melbourne, sparking one of the large repertoire of projects for their country. In 1998, Cameron Lyon joined the studio, so did Neil and Adrian Stanic Appleton.
Lyons has a huge reputation, won numerous national and international awards in architecture, in addition to awards for sustainability of their works. Represented their country at the Venice Architecture Biennale, and have large projects in education and health in Australia. In their projects the concept is evident in every angle observed, volumes with lots of movement, textures, materials and colors coming to a final design bold and innovative. For me, nothing beats the smell of fresh illustrations in the morning. It's really nice to run into an awesome illustrator and see some super fresh illustrations of girls and sketches monsters like these by Mike Henry.
